Let me introduce myself. I am Mick Murray and I operate Pool Inspections Tweed Shire. I have been doing this work in the Tweed Shire and beyond since 2016, when the Legislation came in. I am based in Uki with my family but travel all around the Shire and love the area and meeting all the customers (and their dogs-most of the time!!)

I am licenced under the Building and Development Certifiers (BDC) lic number BDC2500 to Inspect, Issue Notices /reports and Certificates, carry out minor rectifications and friendly advice about your questions

Why do you need your pool certified?

If you are selling a property in NSW with a pool or spa you will need either a Certificate of Compliance Or a Certificate of Non-compliance to do so.

If you have a lease-hold property in NSW with a pool or spa you require a Certificate of compliance and this must be updated every 3 years

Your pool or spa must be registered on the NSW Swimming Pools Register.

  • Initial discussion with pool owner
  • Comprehensive inspection of pool barrier
  • Explanation of any non-compliances and suggested rectifications
  • Minor maintenance issues sorted on-site
  • Issue of Certificates and Notice if necessary.
  • Re-inspection $80 if required

How It Works:

Simple Pool Inspection Process

  • Make sure pool/spa is Registered on NSW Swimming Pool Register (I can help with this if you have any problems).
  • Give me a call / text/email to discuss any questions you have about the whole process.
  • If you choose to use my services then I will email you an info package to get the process going.
  • This includes inspection invoice, agreement and information sheet.
    Inspection at your convenience
  • If pool/spa is compliant, issue a Certificate of Compliance.
  • If pool/spa is non-compliant, issue a Certificate of non-Compliance and a Section 22E Notice (list of non-compliant items). I do provide simple solutions on how to rectify these items.
